Kroeker Mountain Properties

About Us

Mission

Kroeker Mountain Properties is dedicated to the development of high quality mountain vacation homes which reflect the natural environments and unspoiled beauty of the Northern Colorado Rockies. We continue to find land available for development which represents the best that nature has to offer and design rustic but up-scale homes which augment the natural beauty of the area. The homes will be designed to maximize the recreational enjoyment of the land and leverage the investment opportunities of mountain home ownership.

Conservation Development

Kroeker Mountain Properties is the first to use the new Larimer County development process called "Conservation Development" in the Red Feather Lakes area. This process, which takes up to two years with the county planning department, allows for the development of several properties per 35 acre parcel of land - provided that half of the parcel is dedicated to a no-development, conservation area owned jointly by the property owners. In the current development, for example, the conservation portion is located along the 1/3 mile boundary with the Roosevelt National Forest and contains a small trout stream, hiking trails and a gazebo with spectacular views. As part of the approval process with the county, Conservation Developments must meet extensive provisions for fire mitigation, road access and maintenance and protection of natural features.

Kroeker Mountain Properties is dedicated to responsible mountain development - preserving the natural quality of this pristine environment while providing owners with the maximum recreational opportunities and return on their property investment. The new Larimer County program, Conservation Development, while requiring extensive planning time and cost, meets this objective.

History

The company has built and sold several homes in Crystal Lakes and is now concentrating on developing homes on its nearby Pearl Vista Conservation Development project 7 miles west of Red Feather Lakes and 2.5 miles from Beaver Meadows Family Guest Ranch. Warren and wife Barbara, who joined the company full time in 2006, live in the area and are devoted to creating opportunities for mountain home ownership equal to that which they continue to enjoy.
